I’ve been avidly watching developments in AR over the past decade, waiting patiently to see something really cool. Well, the technology has evolved and the brilliant Stu Eve has now done something very cool: Augmented a Roman Fort.
This sort of approach has many obvious applications in heritage and I can’t wait to give it a go as soon as I can get my hands on an iPad… Not to mention what looked to be an amazing time putting the model together!
This sort of technology combined with cheap and easy to obtain models, including models produced on 3D printers which are getting cheaper and more accessible, opens up a whole world of potential.
Nice one Stu!
